Well worth the money I’ve had mine for about 3-4 years. You can pick up murmurs and crackles very easily with this model. Recently, I tried using my former stethoscope on patients (Sprague Rappaport), and WHOA!! I could barely hear anything!! (I had gotten spoiled by my Cards-III for the last few years without even knowing it!) Superb Scope The Littmann Cardiology I got in med school back in 1988 bit the dust five years ago (tubes cracked after 19 years of heavy use). I got a top-line Tycos that worked for 5 years before it just fell apart (tubes hardened and cracked and the headset spring pooped out). The Tycos acoustics seemd OK but not as good as my first Littman, so I went back to Littmann, and I’m glad I did.
